X has recently introduced a groundbreaking feature to its app, allowing users to capture and create their own animated GIFs. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the steps on how to make GIFs on X.

Step 1: Update Your X App
Before you processed on your GIF-making journey, ensure that you have the latest version of the X app installed. Keeping your app up-to-date guarantees access to the newest features and improvements.
Step 2: Initiating the GIF Creation Process
Once your X app is updated, open it and tap on the new tweet button. Hereafter, tap the camera icon at the bottom.
Step 3: Choosing GIF Mode
Select the GIF option from the available choices. If necessary, you can use the lightning bolt icon to toggle your flash on or off. Alternatively, tap the top right corner to switch between your device’s front and back cameras.
Step 4: Recording Your GIF
Hold down the shutter button to start capturing your GIF. The recording will automatically stop after approximately one second, and your animated GIF will be generated. If you’re dissatisfied with the recording, tap “retake” in the bottom left corner to give it another shot.
Step 5: Customizing Loop Options
You have the option to customize how your GIF loops. Tap the right arrow to have it loop from the beginning or the double arrows to make it loop forward and backward.
Step 6: Finalizing Your GIF
When satisfied, tap “use GIF” in the bottom right corner. Your GIF creation will then be attached to your tweet, and you can proceed with writing and posting your tweet as you normally would.
