On-page SEO is the part you fully control

You cannot control how many sites link to you overnight, but you can control your own pages, and that is where most quick ranking wins live. On-page SEO is the set of signals on the page itself: the title, the headings, the content, the structure, and the technical tags. Get these right and you give search engines every reason to rank and understand you. This tool checks them in seconds and scores them.

What it checks, and why each matters

  • URL structure. HTTPS, length, clean paths, and no messy parameters. A secure, readable URL is a baseline trust signal.
  • Title and meta description. Your listing in search. Right length, keyword present, compelling enough to earn the click.
  • Headings. Exactly one clear H1, with H2s and H3s in a logical order, so the page topic is unmistakable.
  • Content quality. Enough depth to be useful (thin pages struggle), and your keyword used naturally.
  • Images. Alt text on images, for accessibility and image search.
  • Technical tags. Canonical, viewport for mobile, language, and Open Graph for social sharing.

How the score works

ScoreWhat it means
80 to 100Strong. Your on-page fundamentals are in good shape.
60 to 79Decent, but a few important fixes will move the needle.
40 to 59Several basics are missing. Good quick wins here.
Under 40Needs real attention before this page can compete.

Critical issues (no HTTPS, missing title, no H1) cost the most points because they do the most damage. Warnings are smaller refinements. The tool ranks everything so you know what to fix first.

The URL rules, in plain terms

  • Use HTTPS. An insecure HTTP page loses trust with both users and Google.
  • Keep URLs short and clean. Under about 75 characters, words not IDs. Long, parameter-heavy URLs (like ?id=482&ref=...) are harder to read and share.
  • Use a recognized domain. Standard extensions read as more trustworthy than obscure ones.

One honest limit

This tool does not measure page speed or Core Web Vitals, those need Google's own performance data, which we do not use here, so we do not fake it. For speed, run the page through Google PageSpeed Insights. Everything else, the on-page and technical factors you can actually edit, is covered.

FAQ

On-page SEO, answered

It checks the parts of a page you control: the title tag and meta description, the H1 and heading structure, word count, images missing alt text, internal and external links, and technical signals like HTTPS, canonical tags, and mobile-friendly meta. It also analyzes the URL itself for length, parameters, and a clean structure. Together these give you a single SEO health score and a prioritized list of fixes.

The tool runs a series of checks across five areas: URL structure, title and meta tags, headings, content quality, and technical signals. Each check passes, warns, or fails, and contributes to a weighted score out of 100. Critical issues like a missing title or no HTTPS cost the most points. The result is a grade and a clear, ranked list of what to fix first.

Aim for 80 or above. A score in that range means your fundamentals are solid: a clean URL, a well-sized title and description, a single clear H1, enough quality content, and the right technical tags. Below 60 usually means several basics are missing, which is exactly the kind of quick win that moves rankings.

The H1 is the main heading that tells search engines and readers what the page is about. Having none leaves the topic unclear; having several competing H1s dilutes it. One clear, descriptive H1 that includes your main keyword is the standard, with H2s and H3s used for sections beneath it in a logical order.

No, and that is deliberate. Real page speed and Core Web Vitals require Google's PageSpeed data, which this tool does not use, so it does not guess. It focuses on the on-page and technical factors you can see and fix directly in your content and HTML. For speed, run your page through Google PageSpeed Insights separately.
